How it Works.
Discovery Call
We hop on a call and get to know each other. I get to know about your newsletter, your goals, and your expectations.
You get to know whatever you want in terms of how we will manage your paid ads and why we’re the right fit.
Onboarding
After we’ve determined it’s a fit, you fill out an onboarding doc provided by us.
This doc will provide all the access we need to get the ball rolling.
Once the onboarding doc is fully filled out and everything is in place we get to work on the landing page audit and first batch of ad creative.
Launch
We launch the ads and you sit back and watch your subscriber count go up in the next few weeks and months.
The launch date will be within 7-10 business days of the onboarding doc being completed provided there’s no major roadblocks.
Test & Optimize
Every week, new creatives will be tested.
You get to see and approve them before they go live (if you’d like).
Optimizations will be made in the ad campaigns each week to keep the CPA as low as possible.

Who Is This For?
This is for any newsletter operator / author / creator / media company who has a well established newsletter and business model behind it. If you are looking to run paid ads to grow your newsletter, you should already have a clear ROI reasoning for it (e.g you can charge sponsors more with a larger list size).
I’m in the business of making great ads that get great CPAs for newsletter operators, not in the business to compare myself to other agencies. Between my last 3 posts I’ve taken Morning Brew from 2.5M to 4.2M subscribers mostly with paid social, grew Workweek’s portfolio of newsletters 106% YoY in total subscribers, and managed 20+ other top newsletters and their ads. All together, I’ve been responsible for producing or overseeing ads that have collectively driven over 3M subscribers.
Negative. We’re fully async and can handle 9/10 things over slack or some quick loom videos. Unless things are in a really bad spot (unlikely) or we need to do live troubleshooting the answer is no. We won’t have meetings.
Nope. This is all month to month. The day you pay for your subscription package starts the first recurring 30 day period. If you’d like to jump ship you can do so at any point before the 5 days in which the next period is set to renew.
I recommend at least $5k in monthly ad spend if you just want to test the waters first. $8-$10k per month is the sweet spot for most newsletter operators to get real growth and data. We will manage up to $40k in monthly ad spend before a custom percentage based management fee goes into play.
We can’t guarantee performance because of the dozens of factors at play. However, if everything is firing on all the right cylinders and Zuck’s developers don’t mess up the ad platform, I am 99.8% confident that we can hit your target CPA within the first 30 days of launching.
